Joe signed his first professional deal with his hometown Club in late 2006 having made his first-team debut at left-back in the 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe United at the Galpharm in early November.
Joe graduated through the Town Academy and has excellent technical ability, earning him the League One Apprentice of the Year award in 2007. He is excellent at taking set-pieces and rarely wastes the ball when in possession. Much is expected of the young defender, who is contracted to Town until the summer of 2011.
