Happy Birthday Stan Ternent!

The new Huddersfield Town manager turns 62 today, having been born in Gateshead on June 16^th 1946.

A midfielder for Burnley and Carlisle United during his playing days, Stan undertook his first managerial role with Blackpool back in 1979 and he has gone on to manage at Hull City, Bury, Burnley, Gillingham and now Town - taking over the role vacated by Andy Ritchie's departure on 5^th May 2008.

His first two new signings as Town boss have been Keigan Parker and Jim Goodwin.
