'CLUB TOGETHER' LAUNCHED
Huddersfield Town is forging links with the region's amateur clubs with its new initiative launched today called 'Club Together'.
Every club that joins the scheme will be given the opportunity to benefit from exclusive offers from the Terriers including matchday ticketing, merchandise and coaching sessions. Additionally as part of the scheme each club that registers will be given the opportunity to have a new website developed for their club completely free of charge, provided by West Yorkshire company Pitch Hero
Commenting on behalf of Huddersfield Town, Sean Jarvis, Director of Business Development said: "Professional Clubs are often thought of as difficult to communicate with. However here at Huddersfield Town we want to break down those barriers and encourage links with amateurs clubs and potential supporters. To be honest this is a win, win situation. The amateur clubs will receive exclusive offers and we will benefit by hopefully building supporters of tomorrow"
The cost to join the Club Together scheme is also completely free and all that is required is a webmaster from the club to input information and a 'Terrier Champion' who can help Huddersfield Town communicate its offers.
Any club wishing to join the new 'Club Together' scheme can do so by sending an email including their name, contact details and the club they represent to tickets@htafc.com. Town will then get in touch to confirm their 'Champion status' and arrange a meeting to discuss the free website and offers.
To help launch the scheme, local club Battyeford FC (pictured) were the first to join and now have in place a Terrier champion and webmaster. Their website can be found at www.battyeford.co.uk
The Club Together scheme is part of Huddersfield Town's grass roots initiative, Fans of The Future which currently includes the 7's Scheme and The Schools Initiative.
