TOWN TRAVEL TO BURY IN PRE-SEASON
htafc.com can confirm that Huddersfield Town will play League Two outfit Bury in a pre-season friendly at Gigg Lane on Saturday 19th July, kick-off 3pm.
The Shakers, who finished 13th in League Two this season, are currently managed by Alan Knill and their squad contains former Town man Paul Scott and one-time triallist Steven Haslam.
Town boss Stan Ternent is one of the most successful Bury managers of all time after he led the Club to what is now the Championship from League Two in a three year spell between 1995 and 1998. During his time at Gigg Lane, he brought Town's Assistant Manager Ronnie Jepson to the Club.
At the time of writing, this game at Bury and the much anticipated home tie with Premiership giants Arsenal on August 6th are the only confirmed pre-season friendlies ahead of the 08/09 season, but keep checking htafc.com for further information on the Club's pre-season plans.
