TOWN'S TEAM vs. LUTON
Town's Caretaker Manager Gerry Murphy has made one change to the starting eleven that vanquished Walsall at the Galpharm Stadium last weekend for today's game against already relegated Luton Town at Kenilworth Road, kick-off 3pm.
As was announced yesterday on htafc.com, Robert Page has not travelled with the squad today as it looks like he may be on his way out of the Club. His place in defence is taken by Tom Clarke, who has been in commanding form for the reserve team as of late.
The only other change to the squad of sixteen is the addition of Phil Jevons to the substitutes' bench. He takes the place of youngster Daniel Broadbent having completed his recovery from a torn calf muscle by playing 70 minutes in the midweek reserve team victory over Leicester City.
This means that the Terriers will utilise the recently successful 3-5-2 formation at Kenilworth Road, with goalkeeper Matt Glennon playing behind centre-backs David Mirfin, Nathan Clarke and his brother Tom. Joe Skarz and Andy Holdsworth will play as left and right wing-backs respectively, leaving James Berrett to play as the holding midfielder behind the slightly more advanced Jonathan Worthington and Michael Collins. Up front, Danny Schofield will partner Andy Booth.
Skarz will be making his 50th career appearance at Kenilworth Road today, whereas today will be the last time we see Danny Schofield in the famous Blue and White stripes as he is set to leave the Club in the summer. Jon Worthington regains the Captain's armband in the absence of Page.
