Members of the Huddersfield Town Board were present at last night's meeting of the Patrons Association for a question and answer session.

Vice Chairman Andrew Watson attended the meeting at the Galpharm Stadium's Panasonic Suite along with fellow directors Roger Armitage, Ralph Rimmer, Ann Hough and Town's Director of Business Development Sean Jarvis to answer un-vetted questions at the latest Patrons event.

Topics covered included, but were not limited to, the Academy, the Zone, Town's corporate development strategy, the facilities at the Galpharm Stadium, the financing of the Club, the recent takeover bid from now Derby Chairman Adam Pearson and even Town's goalkeeping options ahead of this weekend's big derby clash with Leeds United.

htafc.com spoke to Director of Business Development Jarvis today and he felt that the meeting was a great success.

"Last night's meeting was excellent - I'd rate it as a real success," Jarvis told the Club's official website. "It was a great way for us to keep our fans informed about the latest goings-on down at the Galpharm, but it was also good for us to gauge what our fans' feelings are at the moment; it was a really constructive piece of two-way communication."

"Meetings such as this are a really good PR exercise for the Club; an area we are constantly trying to improve upon. I'd like to think it is a good demonstration of our willingness to increase the amount of interaction between the Club and our fans as we try to move the Club forward together."

Trevor Wainwright, Chairman of the Patrons Association, echoed the sentiments of Sean.

"Last night's meeting was well attended, which I was very pleased with. There were some searching questions asked of the Board that they did not avoid - in fact we got some very good answers. All in all, the meeting was very positive."
