The Huddersfield Town Centenary Golf Classic will take place at Huddersfield Golf Club, Fixby on Wednesday 30^th April 2008.

The event has once again been kindly sponsored by Direct Golf UK.

Fans will be able to enter a team of three, with the fourth member of each team to be a present Town player or an invited celebrity guest drawn at random.

Registration will take place at Fixby Golf Club at 11am, but early birds able to enjoy a complimentary breakfast from 9am onwards and even get in some invaluable practise on the course before the real play commences!

Lunch will be served at 12 noon before the Ryder Cup-style competition begins, with legendary strikers Steve Kindon and Andy Booth captaining the sides!

Golf will be played in an 18-hole Stableford format, with a shotgun start in the afternoon. Following the conclusion of play, players will enjoy an evening meal and the prize presentations.

Team Hanvey were victorious at last year's event, overcoming Boothy's side 14-8.

The price per team is £500 + VAT.
